ફોર્બ્સે તૈયાર કરેલ 100 to Watchની લિસ્ટમાં ભારત તરફથી 22 કંપનીઓને તેમના અવનવા આઈડિયાસને કારણે સમાવવામાં આવ્યા છે. ટોચની ભારતીય કંપનીઓ તરફ નજર કરીએ તો એગ્રીકલ્ચર સ્ટાર્ટઅપ એક્વાકનેક્ટ, બીટો (બાયોટેક અને હેલ્થકેર), બેલાટ્રીક્સ એરોસ્પેસ (લોજિસ્ટિક્સ અને ટ્રાન્સપોર્ટેશન), બેટરપ્લેસ (શિક્ષણ અને ભરતી) સામેલ છે.

કેટલા દેશમાંથી કેટલી કંપનીઓ સિલેક્ટ કરવામાં આવી ?

આ યાદી(100 to Watch Forbes) સમગ્ર એશિયા-પેસિફિક ક્ષેત્રના 17 દેશો અને પ્રદેશોનું પ્રતિનિધિત્વ કરે છે. સિંગાપોર અને હોંગકોંગની અનુક્રમે 19 અને 10 કંપનીઓ આ સ્ટાર્ટઅપ યાદીમાં સમાવાઈ છે. આ યાદીમાં ઇન્ડોનેશિયાની આઠ કંપનીઓ છે.

કોરોના મહામારી છતા 100 to Watch લિસ્ટની કંપનીઓએ અનેક સમસ્યાઓ છતા ઉત્કૃષ્ટ પ્રદર્શન કર્યું છે. ફોર્બ્સ એશિયાએ થી વ 100 ટૂ Watch લિસ્ટની પસંદગી માટે ઓનલાઈન સબમિશનની મંગાવી હતી અને એક્સિલરેટર્સ, ઇન્ક્યુબેટર્સ, એસએમઈની વકીલાત કરતી સંસ્થાઓ, યુનિવર્સિટીઓ, વેન્ચર કેપિટલિસ્ટો અને અન્યને પણ કંપનીઓને નોમિનેટ કરવા આમંત્રણ આપ્યું હતુ. 900થી વધુ સબમિશનમાંથી અંતિમ 100ની પસંદગી કરવામાં આવી હતી.

ફોર્બ્સની યાદી(100 to Watch Forbes)માં સબમિશન માટે લાયક બનવા માટે અનેક માપદંડો નક્કી કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. આ શરતોમાં કંપનીઓનું મુખ્ય મથક એશિયા-પેસિફિક ક્ષેત્રમાં હોવું જોઈએ, ઓછામાં ઓછું એક વર્ષ જૂનું સ્ટાર્ટઅપ હોવું જોઈએ, ખાનગી માલિકીનું હોવું જોઈએ, નફો કરતું હોવું જોઈએ, વાર્ષિક આવક 20 મિલિયન ડોલરથી ઓછી હોવી જોઈએ.

Of its half-million app installs, nearly 300,000 are paid members with 25,000 joining monthly, according to BeatO. It says it recently raised $5.7 million and has partnered with a major insurer to expand beyond India.
